East Maiden is excited to send 41 students and chaperones to camps this summer. Kid’s Korner Children’s Ministry will be going to Centri-Kid june 26-30 and Thru-The-Roof Student Ministry will be going to M-FUGE July 16-20. We ask for your help in sending these students to camp by participating in fundraisers! Our first fundraiser will be this Saturday, April 21 at the Maiden Galaxy Food Center. We will sell hamburgers & hotdogs from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. If you would like to provide a dessert for us to sell on Saturday, please have it at the church office by Friday at 3:00 PM. The dessert needs to be sliced and individually-wrapped, ready for sale.
Join us this Saturday and help these students go to camp! We believe God is doing something big through this generation!
Can you believe it is time to think about going back to school? Well, at Kid’s Korner Children’s Ministry we still have some celebrating to do! There is still some summer left and we are going to Brian & Chasity Drum’s for a Back-2-School Pool Party! Meet at the Drum’s on Friday, August 19 at 6 PM. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided. There is a sign up sheet for the other “stuff” to go on the table. For more information, please contact the church office! We hope to see you on Friday ready to wave goodbye to summer and hello to the school year!
Cowboys! Indians! Trains! Excitement! Kid’s Korner Children’s Ministry is headed to Tweetsie Railroad on Friday, August 12. We plan to leave the church at 8 AM. With 20 people in our group, the cost will be $28/adults and $17/children. With less than 20 persons, the cost will be $34/$22. If you are interested in going, please contact the church office by 3 PM on Wednesday, August 10.
